General
These Terms of Service are to help protect both the artist and the client . I see myself as very flexible and so if you have any concerns please just communicate with me about it!
Artist and Client Rights
By commissioning me you agree to the following:I, the artist, maintain the right to...
Decline a commission, with or without explanation.
Discontinue a commission due to poor communication, rude/inappropriate behavior, breaking my Terms of Service, or other reasons with explanation.
Post my artwork in any form, unless the client requests for the work to not be shared publicly.
You, the client, maintain the right to...
Print your commission for personal use. I do not currently offer commissions for commercial use.
Edit, crop, and/or resize the commissioned work, as long as credit is still given.
Post the commission online, as long as credit or a link back to my profile is given.
Request large edits or reworks while in the sketching/early phase.
Request small edits, corrections, and adjustments to the commission after the sketching phase. Large-scale reworks will cost extra at this point.
Payment and Refunds
Payment is taken through PayPal, in $USD.
Payment can be made in full, or 50% before and 50% after.
Payment will either be done upfront or after you approve the initial sketch. If paying in 2 parts, the first half must be sent at one of these two points.
Full-resolution files will only be sent once the full payment has been recieved.
Commissions will be non-refundable after the approved sketch phase.
In the event that the commission has not been completed in 3 months time, a refund may be requested.
Breaking TOS
With the addition of the above, other things that will break my TOS are:
Claiming a finished commission as your own work, or claiming an edited version of the commission as your own work.
Removing credit or watermarks without permission. Permission may be granted in special cases but must be agreed upon beforehand.
Using the commission for means which generate a profit.
Breaking TOS will result in disqualification from further commissions, refunds for previous or current commissions, and I may make details public to other artists to beware.
